Hole #1 Wee Bender Par 4
Yardage: Blue 424 / White 396 / Red 332 / Silver 332
The first hole of “Ross Corner”. The first four holes are the soul of Mr. Ross's design. Get by them and you are half way home. One of the best starting holes in the area. You need a big tee shot that must find the fairway in order to attack the green. A 4 here is a great score to start your round.
Hole #2 Big Bender Par 4
Yardage: Blue 446 / White 418 / Red 405 (Par 5) / Silver 342 (Par 5)
The second of Donald Ross's great 4 opening holes. A long and accurate tee shot, worked slightly from right to left, sets you up for the second shot. The second shot will play 20 yards longer due to the uphill nature of the hole.
Hole #3 Corner Par 3
Yardage: Blue 185 / White 170 / Red 153 / Silver 153
The third leg of Ross Corner is #3, the first of four demanding par threes. Tee shot must be accurate. The green is very difficult to putt, especially when the pin is tucked to the left. Three is a good score here.
Hole #4 Oh No Par 4
Yardage: Blue 433 / White 419 / Red 335 / Silver 335
The final hole of Ross's Corner. A demanding left to right tee shot is needed to get by the corner. A good tee shot will leave a mid to short iron to the green. The player who gets through the first 4 holes even par or one over is in very good position.
Hole #5 Guys & Dolls Par 4
Yardage: Blue 366 / White 341 / Red 331 / Silver 313
Straight away and all up hill. A tee shot right of center opens up green for the second shot. Distance of the second shot is difficult to judge due to the elevation of the green. Four traps guard the green.
Hole #6 Shark's Mouth Par 3
Yardage: Blue 157 / White 141 / Red 122 / Silver 122
A great par 3. A very deceptive hole, where pin placement and wind are key to club selection. This hole can be played with a short- to mid-iron. Green drops off at rear and is guarded by a large trap across the front and on the right side. Best advice: aim for the middle of the green, take your two putts and move on.
Hole #7 The Palms Par 5
Yardage: Blue 522 / White 510 / Red 440 / Silver 440
The only par 5 for the men on the front nine and the longest hole on the course. The tee shot must favor the left side in order to get around the bend. A well placed tee shot will allow long hitters to reach the green in two. For most, a good tee shot and good second will leave a pitch to the green. Be wary of this false fronted green when the pin is in front.
Hole #8 Calamity Jane Par 4
Yardage: Blue 352 / White 336 / Red 321 / Silver 321
One of the best holes on the course and the #1 handicap hole for women. Slight dogleg to the left. Tee shot placement is key. Long hitters can drive it close, but beware of second shot. An elevated green with 5 traps demands accuracy and is one of the prettiest greens on the course.
Hole #9 The Midway Par 4
Yardage: Blue 372 / White 364 / Red 320 / Silver 320
The par 4, 9th hole, is a cutters delight. The tee shot must move left to right to have a mid to short iron approach into the green. The green is slightly elevated and is well bunkered right and left.
Hole #10 Over the Hill Par 5
Yardage: Blue 506 / White 477 / Red 402 / Silver 402
One of the most demanding tee shots on the course. The tee shot must be worked left to right or you risk hitting through the fairway into the woods. The second shot is a blind shot over the hill and down to the green. The small green is bunkered front left and right. Be careful not to miss your approach long left.
Hole #11 Over the Creek Par 3
Yardage: Blue 179 / White 140 / Red 96 / Silver 96
This is a demanding par 3 which, depending on the wind, can play fairly easy or can be very difficult. The two bunkers and the green that slopes from back to front provide a lot of excitement. 3 is a good score here.
Hole #12 Devil's Kick Par 4
Yardage: Blue 335 / White 322 / Red 312 / Silver 249
Another short hole that appears easy at first glance. However, few birdies are made here due to the elevated green which slopes severely from back to front. The approach is difficult to judge and many a golfer has found themselves short of the green.
Hole #13 Isn't Easy Par 4
Yardage: Blue 389 / White 366 / Red 310 / Silver 310
A deceptive, tricky little par 4. A drive right of center positions for a good second shot. The green is tightly surrounded by traps. Pin location can add to the difficulty here.
Hole #14 Round the Lake Par 4
Yardage: Blue 356 / White 331 / Red 323 / Silver 301
One of the most interesting and beautiful holes on the course. A gambler's heaven where long hitters can take dead aim and try to drive the green. If you decide to play it safe, you have the difficult task of avoiding the lake, followed by a mid-iron to the green.

Hole #15 Crossing Curlew Par 5
Yardage: Blue 483 / White 471 / Red 407 / Silver 407
A good tee shot left of center allows a second across Curlew Creek and will allow long hitters to reach in two. A slight pull or hook can be disastrous. Play second shot lay-up near bridge and cross to green with third. The tee shot makes you or breaks you on this hole.
Hole #16 The Tower Par 3
Yardage: Blue 185 / White 176 / Red 156 / Silver 156
The final par 3. This hole appears to be very straightforward, but proves to be a difficult task. #16 always plays the most difficult of the par 3's.
Hole #17 Through the Gap Par 5
Yardage: Blue 502 / White 471 / Red 339 (Par 4) / Silver 339 (Par 4)
A good risk-reward hole which provides a good birdie opportunity. Long hitters who try to reach in two will be aiming for a very small elevated green. Missing this green will lead to a very difficult up and down on the severely sloped green.
Hole #18 Glenn Eagles Par 4
Yardage: Blue 413 / White 396 / Red 329 / Silver 329
A great Donald Ross finishing hole. Trees on both sides of fairway and out of bounds on right provide for an extremely tight tee shot. Second shot to an uphill green must be kept below the hole. A 4 here will make you feel as if you have "conquered the hill".
